Find Your Safety In Me

I Hear His Whisper…

Find your safety in me.

Beloved, it’s okay to feel that things are out of control. I’m very aware of what’s going on in your heart and how uncomfortable obscurity and waiting can be. When you can’t make everything go the way you want and life seems like it’s slipping through your fingers, I need you to trust me. This is what faith is all about.

I never asked you to fix everything. I don’t want you to take the weight of the world or even the weight of your own life and place it on your shoulders. I already did that on the cross. The reason you feel frazzled and anxious is because you can’t fix this. And if there is anything for you to do, you won’t discover it by racking your brain. You’ll only hear my wise instructions by handing those things over and soaking in my presence. Releasing control may feel scary and unsafe, but I assure you that it is the only way to be free. Let me do what only I can do. Life has never been in your control—even when you thought it was. I alone hold all things. You must find your safety in me. Let go and trust me.

Matthew 6:34
The Passion Translation

Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.
